THE CARNiVAL IN WEZEMBEEK-OPPEM
DATE AND TIME
Sunday 5 MARCH 2023 from 11.30 till 18.00!
CORTEGE
- Departure at 11.30 am from the place of the town hall (Rue Louis Marcelis 140)
- If you want to be part of the procession, we expect you in costume at 11:15 am in front of the town hall!
- Arrival at 12:30 in The Hoeveke (Rue Raymond Hernalsteen, 41 – 1970 Wezembeek-Oppem (entrance by chemin au bois)
- Duration: 1 hour – Route: 1.5 km.
The parade will be preceded by a brass band and supervised by the police of WOKRA.
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
Open air activities for young and old all afternoon:

- Bouncy castles,

DRINK AND EAT
Non-stop food from 12:30 to 18:00!
- Catering: Hot-dogs, soups, cotton candy, popcorn, …

SECURITY
It will be the parents’ responsibility to supervise the children during the procession, during the different activities and near the bouncy castles.
IN CASE OF RAIN
The rain will not be enough to prevent us from living this extraordinary moment in Wezembeek-Oppem… Remember to cover yourself & equip yourself accordingly. And if necessary, don’t forget your umbrella!
PARKING
WEZEMBEEK-OPPEM being a quiet town, we invite you to prefer walking and cycling as much as possible. ALMOST NO PARKING SPACES ON THE STREET! If you arrive by car, please park properly and make sure you do not disturb the inhabitants of the area.
